After an eclectic 40-year career I embarked on a new journey into oil painting during retirement.

While my artistic roots trace back to my time at Colgate University, I fully immersed myself in the craft seven years ago. Guided by mentors at the Curtis Center for the Arts in Greenwood Village, CO, such as Aimee Deneweth, Janet Anderson, and Cliff Austin, as well as the invaluable teachings of Victoria Ekelund and Dave Santillanes, I honed my skills in landscapes.

However, it was the workshops and mentorship of Douglas Fryer that truly ignited my passion for experimentation and growth, inspiring me to constantly push boundaries and explore new concepts. Many of my paintings are referenced from my time fly fishing in my native state of Colorado and throughout the country. Now, I invite you to explore my artistic journey through my work.
